Ephesians exhorts Christians to love their fellow believers because Christ adopted them into His family. Thabiti Anyabwile has created a study guide that empowers Christians, from teenagers to adults, to profitably mine the riches of Ephesians.

The guide, edited by Tim Chester, skillfully encourages participants to engage Scripture. Each of the ten lessons follows a four-part structure. The lessons open with an ice-breaker, called a “talkabout,” designed to encourage groups to discuss a topic related to the day’s lesson. Next, the participants investigate the biblical passage and answer a few text-based questions. Fact-finding questions are followed by others requiring us to reflect on the implications of the passage. The lesson concludes with sections on application and prayer.

While educating us on Ephesians, Anyabwile encourages us to obey the book and consider how our lives must change in light of it. For those seeking a transformative encounter with God’s Word, this booklet will be helpful.
