This series seeks to engage churches and small groups in self-guided Bible study through detailed lessons. Job, a recent addition to the series, is no exception.

Christopher R. Smith walks through the book of Job section by section, dividing the book along natural breaks in the text. He provides a particular focus on the various speeches within the book. Each section is accompanied by questions intended to drive discussions for small groups. The end result is a 22-session Bible study that deals with questions of why evil exists, why bad things happen to good people, and why good things happen to bad people. This study will appeal to any small group, from high school to older adults, within the church setting.
